Cups

Hard-boiled eggs, several per child
Towels and diaper wipes
Empty egg carton

Instructions
1. Mix the Easter egg dye according to the package directions in each cup.
2. Give each child several hard-boiled eggs.
3. Encourage the children to dye their "dinosaur eggs." Demonstrate how to use multiple colors per egg for a tie-dye look. (Make sure to let the egg dry for a few seconds before dipping it into the next color choice.)4. Keep towels and diaper wipes handy for easy wipe ups.
5. Place the eggs in an egg carton to dry. Refrigerate until ready to use.
6. Help the children write their names on their eggs for easy identification.
7. Encourage the children to examine their eggs using a magnifier. Or, they can hide them in the sand table to be "discovered."More to doGames: Make a matching game using the eggs. Show the children pictures of what real dinosaur eggs may have looked like. Then, encourage them to draw a picture of the exact dinosaur and place it beside the egg.
