One hard-boiled egg per child
A bowl for dipping 3 cups (750 ml) cold water One envelope unsweetened drink mix in a bright color Plastic wrapInstructions
1. Explain that dinosaurs hatched from eggs.
2. Let the children tap the eggs on a hard surface so that cracks form all over them.
3. Leave the shells on and set the eggs aside.
4. In the bowl, mix together the water and the drink mix. Add the cracked eggs.
5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one day.
6. Take the eggs out of the water and peel. They look like dinosaur eggs!
7. Eat them!

This chant is based on the book, We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. Everyone sits
in a circle. Establish a rhythm by clapping hands. Start the chant and have the children repeat
each line after you.
