Wednesday Word: Grace | Gryphon House

For today, all you need is the grace to begin beginning. —Julia Cameron, author and artist

Grace comes in the form of every child that you touch. Do you take the time to really see them and hear their voices that call for your attention? If you find yourself overwhelmed with demands and pulled in a thousand directions, take time to stop, rethink, reassess, and realign your priorities. Your grace is a way to honor and dignify your work with children. Children deserve to be seen, heard, and honored for who they are. Open your eyes to new beginnings and new possibilities, and see the extraordinary in the ordinary of each and every day.

Leanne Grace | Gryphon House

In loving memory of Gryphon House author Leanne Grace, MEd, we are sharing pieces of her inspirational writing every Wednesday. Leanne was the director of professional development at Hildebrandt Learning Centers and a lifelong advocate for early childhood education.  She inspired the early childhood community to prepare children as lifelong learners with her ability to find the extraordinary in the ordinary. One person can make a difference, and Leanne did just that. She will be sorely missed.
