Invite your child to experience the power of stillness

Mindfulness is a muscle that you, and your child, can continue to build and develop—especially during times of disruption or uncertainty—to overcome daily challenges, whether big or small.

Now, more than ever, it is important for adults to model resilience for young children, and mindfulness is a key ingredient.

How can you show your child how to bounce back and find a state of joy and wonder? Practice stillness!

Elizabeth Erwin, EdD explains how practicing stillness—sitting in quiet, not multitasking, just noticing—will help you and your child to relieve tension and grow resilience in slow, approachable steps.
