Materials 

  1. Construction paper in a variety of colors
  2. Scissors
  3. Pencils, crayons, and markers
  4. Laminate
  5. Tape

Instructions

  1. In the shoe store center, ask the children to remove their shoes.
  2. Help each child trace her foot onto a piece of construction paper the same color as the child's shoe.
  3. Ask the children to cut out their traced shoe patterns and decorate them to look like their shoe.
  4. Spread out all of the paper shoes on the floor. Encourage the children to group the shoes according to color, style, and so on.
  5. Laminate the paper shoes, and tape them to the floor to make a pathway across the room.

Instructions

1. Make patterns for different shapes of meat on oak tag.
2. Use the patterns to cut out the shapes from craft foam sheets. Cut out pork
chop and steak shapes from pink craft foam sheets, and chicken or fish
shapes from tan craft foam sheets.
3. Use a brown marker to draw and color bone or skin. Use
white correction fluid to draw fat.
4. Place the meat shapes in meat trays.
5. Cover each tray tightly with plastic wrap and
secure on the back with clear tape.
