What to do
1. After a rainfall, when the weather has turned fair, bring a few blankets, paper, and paintbrushes
outside and find a mud puddle.
2. Invite the children to find a spot on a blanket alongside the puddle and lay their paper beside
them.
3. Have them dip their brush into the mud puddle and paint a picture using mud.
4. Let the pictures dry in the sun.
