Instructions
1. Using a simple pattern or die cut machine, make 10 to 15 simple houses out of construction paper, and write a different numeral on each one.
2. Draw or die cut a mouse out of brown or gray paper. It should be small enough to hide behind the houses without being seen.
3. Place the houses on the floor and hide the mouse behind one.
4. Gather the children and introduce the new game. Tell them that this is a "number neighborhood," and that each house has a different number.
5. Tell them that there is a mouse hiding in one of them and they are to guess which one by calling out the number.
