Instructions

* Christmas is celebrated on December 25th.
1. Beforehand, cut a large tree shape from the green felt. From each of the
five pieces of felt, cut out a square, circle, diamond, triangle, and star (five
different colors of squares, five different colors of circles, and so on).
2. At circle time, place the tree on the flannel board.
3. Arrange the shapes on the tree in a grid pattern, colors matching
vertically and shapes matching horizontally.
4. Ask the children to cover their eyes as you remove one of the shapes.
5. The children must guess the shape and color of the missing ornament.
More to do Use actual ornaments for a take-away game similar to the Memory Tree
Game.
