Amy Cox is a supervising teacher at the Melba S. Lehner Children's School at Weber State University. She has trained and evaluated early childhood teachers for many years. She has worked in a therapeutic intervention program helping children with serious behavioral and emotional problems, in the migrant education program, and as a Head Start mentor teacher. She has created developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the needs and interests of children.
Amy regularly presents workshops and training sessions in her community and across the country. She is a speaker and an active member of the National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the Utah Association for Education Young Children (UAEYC) and the National Association for Child Care Resource and Referral (NACCRRA).
Amy Cox lives in Ogden, Utah.
